FOUNDATION HISTORY & PURPOSE

The Huntsville/Madison County Builders Foundation, Inc. (H/MCBF)
was created in 1997 and is a non-profit corporation and qualified for
tax exemption and charitable contributions including testamentary
bequests under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, as
last amended. It is governed by a Board of Governors which meets on
a monthly basis. The central object and purpose of the Foundation is
to provide educational, charitable, and scientific activities dedicated to
the improvement of the residential housing industry and the provision
of housing for the public.
